WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Minute Rice® instant white rice | ||
1½ cups (375 mL) | ||
½ lb (250 g) | beef sirloin steak, sliced | |
1 | onion, chopped | |
1 tbsp (15 mL) | oil | |
1 cup (250 mL) | peas | |
2 cups (500 mL) | Japanese frozen mixed vegetables | |
1 tbsp (15 mL) | soy sauce | |
1 can ((10 oz / 284 mL)) | beef broth | |
½ tsp (2.5 mL) | garlic powder | |
½ tsp (2.5 mL) | ground ginger |
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Cook beef and onion in a little oil in a large, covered frypan for about 5 minutes
Step 2: Add peas, frozen vegetables, rice and soy sauce. Cook on high for 2-3 minutes
Step 3: Add broth and seasoning. Bring to boil; cover and let stand for 5 minutes
