For the Sriracha Fans
No worries if you are not a huge gochujang fan; this recipe also goes excellent with Sriracha.
Gochujang is a delicious red chilli paste with a spicy and sweet taste that often appears in Korean cooking. It is made from gochu-garu, glutinous rice, meju powder, yeotgireum, and salt. It is often used in marinades, meat dishes or stews. It will surely add depth and kick to whatever you are preparing. The heat level can vary, so check out the package before you choose. It is versatile; remember, a little can go a long way. Because it is so thick, it is usually mixed with a liquid of some sort to make it easier to work with. Also, keep in mind that because of its consistency it can burn easily, so take care. Once opened, store it in the refrigerator, and the good news is… it has a very long shelf life!
