Making the Best Tasting Chilli
Adding cinnamon, strong coffee, or dark chocolate may boost the meaty flavour in a good chilli. Pick any of the following:
- One teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- One whole cinnamon stick
- A shot of espresso
- A small cup of strong coffee
- Two tablespoons of cocoa powder
- A few squares of good-quality dark chocolate
Try it for yourself! Another secret is to make your chilli the night before and let it sit. It gets better sitting a night in the fridge.
