WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Minute Rice® instant white rice, uncooked | ||
1½ cups (375 mL) | ||
1 tbsp (15 mL) | oil | |
2 | boneless skinless chicken breasts (8 oz/250g), cut into bite-sized pieces | |
2 cans (10 oz/284 mL each) | cream of mushroom soup | |
1 cup (250 mL) | milk | |
1 cup (250 mL) | frozen peas |
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Heat oil in large frying pan on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through
Step 2: Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to boil; cover
Step 3: Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir before serving
Substitute:
Substitute your favourite frozen mixed vegetables for the peas.
Shortcut:
Prepare as directed, omitting the oil and substituting 1 can (170 g) drained and flaked tuna for the cooked chicken.
