WHAT YOU'LL NEED

uncooked Minute Rice® instant white rice | ||
½ cup (250 mL) | ||
1¾ cups (425 mL) | milk | |
2 tbsp (30 mL) | each sugar and raisins | |
¼ tsp (1 mL) | salt | |
1 | egg | |
¼ tsp (1 mL) | vanilla |
INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Combine milk, Minute Rice®, sugar, raisins and salt in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer uncovered for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally
Step 2: Beat egg and vanilla with wire whisk until well blended. Add a small amount of the hot milk mixture; mix well. Return to saucepan; cook and stir on low heat for 1 minute. (Do not boil.) ,Remove from heat. Let stand for 30 minutes. Serve warm. Store any remaining pudding in refrigerator
