Laura Calder is a renowned cookbook author, television host, and master of l’art de vivre.
Laura hosted French Food at Home, which ran for 78 episodes and aired worldwide. She was a judge for two seasons on Recipe to Riches, appeared on IronChef America and Top Chef Canada, and was featured in a number of television specials.
Her four cookbooks are beloved by her fans for their simple yet sophisticated recipes, and for Laura’s easy-going and funny story-telling.
Born and raised in Canada, she has studied and worked in food and wine in Canada, the USA, and France, where she lived for a decade. In 2011, she received the Order of the Mérite Agricole from the government of France for her service to French cuisine. Laura currently lives (and hosts) in Toronto.
