Eligibility. This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Québec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry, with the exception of employees of the Sponsor, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership, their respective parent, related and affiliated companies, subsidiaries, departments or agencies, franchisees, suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies, Sweepstakes administrators, and any other parties engaged in the development, production or distribution of Sweepstakes materials, and those living in the same household. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, these Sweepstakes Rules. Entrants who do not comply with any of the Sweepstakes Rules are subject to disqualification by the Sponsor, in Sponsor's sole discretion.
Sweepstakes Dates and Times. The Sweepstakes begins on September 3, 2026 at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on October 4, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time (Sweepstakes End Date), after which time the Sweepstakes will be closed and no further entries will be accepted (Sweepstakes Period).
How to Enter – With Purchase. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. See the No Purchase Entry Method in Section 5 below. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.
To enter with a purchase, follow the steps below:
1. Purchase Requirement: Purchase any Minute Rice Cups (250g) product listed in the Eligible Products section (Section 6) below (a “Qualifying Purchase”) from a participating Canadian retailer during the Sweepstakes Period.
2. Visit www.minuterice.ca/sweepstakes and complete the online registration form, providing your first name, last name, email address, and telephone number and confirming your agreement to be bound by these Sweepstakes Rules.
3. Upload a legible photo or scanned image of your original store receipt showing: (i) the Eligible Product purchased; (ii) the price paid; (iii) the name of the retailer; and (iv) the date and time of purchase, which must fall within the Sweepstakes Period. Receipts may be submitted in jpg, jpeg, png, or pdf file formats with a maximum file size of 8MB. Entrants are encouraged to blank out any other personal or financial information appearing on the receipt. Both the Qualifying Purchase and the submission of the receipt must occur during the Sweepstakes Period. Receipt uploads submitted after the Sweepstakes End Date will not be accepted.
4. Submit your entry.
Limit of one (1) entry per valid, unique receipt, regardless of the number of Eligible Products shown on that receipt. Each receipt may only be submitted once and by one (1) entrant. Any receipt that is duplicated, previously submitted, submitted by more than one entrant, or otherwise determined by the Sponsor to be invalid will be void and will not be counted as an entry. An entrant may submit more than one receipt during the Sweepstakes Period, provided that each receipt is valid, unique and reflects a separate Qualifying Purchase. For this Sweepstakes, receipt of an entry occurs when the Sponsor's server records the entry information. All entries are subject to verification by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, and only entries with a verified Eligible Product will be considered valid. You must retain your original store receipt. The Sponsor reserves the right to request the original receipt at any time for verification purposes. Receipts that are illegible, altered, fraudulent, duplicated, previously submitted, or that do not clearly show an Eligible Product purchased within the Sweepstakes Period are void and will not be counted as an entry.

Any attempt or suspected attempt to use robotic, automatic, programmed or otherwise illicit means to enter the Sweepstakes, or any other methods not authorized by these Sweepstakes Rules, for example, but not limited to, creating multiple accounts, identities, or registrations, all in the Sponsor's sole discretion, shall be deemed as tampering and may disqualify you from entering, participating and/or winning a prize. Entries that contain false or incomplete information are void. Entries that are late, lost, stolen, illegible, contain false information, are damaged, misdirected, mutilated, garbled or incomplete, altered or otherwise irregular or that do not conform with or satisfy any or all of the conditions of the Sweepstakes Rules are void. Entrants grant Sponsor a non-exclusive licence to use all entries for any purpose. No correspondence will be entered into except with Selected Entrants. Proof of transmission (for example, screenshots or captures) does not constitute proof of entry or receipt of an entry.
How to Enter – Without Purchase (No Purchase Necessary). You may enter without making a purchase by submitting the following, via email to sweepstakes@brandmomentum.ca.
1. your full name;
2. your complete mailing address (including postal code);
3. your email address; and
4. a short original statement, in fifty (50) words or less, telling us why you love Minute Rice Cups (together, a “No Purchase Submission”).
Limit of one (1) entry per person per No Purchase Submission received. No Purchase Submissions must be received during the Sweepstakes Period. No Purchase Submissions that are late, incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or that do not otherwise comply with these Sweepstakes Rules are void and will not be counted as an entry. A valid No Purchase Submission will be entered into the same random drawing, and afforded the same odds of winning, as an entry submitted with a Qualifying Purchase, as described in Section 10 below.

Sweepstakes Prizes.
1. Grand Prize: There are a total of three (3) Grand Prizes available to be won. Each Grand Prize consists of:
  - One (1) pair of tickets to a Toronto FC home game to be played in Toronto on October 28, 2026 (the “Tickets”);
  - $400 CAD cash in spending money;
  - Two (2) Official Toronto FC Jerseys; and
  - Two (2) Official Toronto FC Caps.
  Maximum total approximate retail value of each Grand Prize: $1,515 CAD. Total approximate retail value of all three (3) Grand Prizes: $4,545 CAD.
  
  Without limiting any other terms in these Rules, each Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded and, except for the $400 CAD cash component of the Grand Prize, has no cash value except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Prizes or any portion of a prize cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions or special offers. The winner is solely responsible for any and all costs and expenses not expressly included in the prize description, including the costs and expenses associated with travel, accommodations, meals, and any other incidental expenses related to attendance at the Toronto FC game. The Tickets are valid only for the Toronto FC home game held on the Game Date specified in Section 7 above and may not be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for any other game or event. All prize details not specifically described above will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Each prize component is subject to any applicable terms and conditions of the issuer, supplier or service provider.
2. Secondary Prize: Free Minute Rice® for a Year – There are a total of five (5) Secondary Prizes available to be won. Each Secondary Prize consists of:
  - Fifty-two (52) coupons, each redeemable for one (1) Minute Rice Product (any variety, subject to availability), up to a maximum value of $15.00 CAD per coupon, representing one (1) free product per week for one (1) year (the “Coupons”). All Coupons expire on December 31, 2027.
  - Maximum total approximate retail value of each Secondary Prize: $780 CAD, based on fifty-two (52) Coupons with a maximum redemption value of $15.00 per Coupon. Total approximate retail value of all five (5) Secondary Prizes: $3,900 CAD.
Without limiting any other terms in these Rules, each Secondary Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable, substitutable or convertible to cash, except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. The Coupons are subject to a maximum redemption value of $15.00 CAD per Coupon and to any terms and conditions printed on or otherwise applicable to the Coupons, including any expiry dates, redemption requirements, product availability, retailer participation, and any applicable limits on use. If the retail price of the selected product exceeds $15.00 CAD, the winner will be responsible for paying the difference at the time of redemption. The Sponsor is not responsible if any Minute Rice product, variety or participating retailer is unavailable at the time of redemption. Any unused, expired, lost, stolen or damaged Coupons will not be replaced, and no compensation or substitution will be provided.

The approximate retail values stated for all prizes above are based on the approximate retail value of the Prizes in Canada at the time these Sweepstakes Rules were prepared. The actual retail value of a Prize may vary. Under no circumstances will any difference between the stated approximate retail value and the actual value of a Prize be awarded.

Limit one (1) prize per person and per household. For clarity, once an entrant has been selected and confirmed as a winner of any prize, that entrant and any other person residing in the same household will not be eligible to win any additional prize.

Each winner, and their guest where applicable, assumes any and all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by entering, participating in this Sweepstakes, attending or participating in any prize-related activity or the use or redemption of a prize. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute, modify or replace a prize or any component of a prize with a prize or component of equal or greater value if the prize or any component cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Any unused portion of a prize may be forfeited, and no compensation or substitution will be provided.
Odds of Winning. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period and that qualify for the random drawing as described below in Section 10.
Skill-testing Question. Selected Entrants will be required, as a condition of winning a prize, to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, the Sponsor's time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by Brand Momentum Inc. (“Administrator”) via telephone or email.
Winner Selection and Confirmation. On October 6, 2026 at 10 a.m. ET at 2595 Skymark Avenue, Unit 205, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 4L5 (Draw Date) the Administrator, or an employee, agent or other representative of the Administrator, will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries received before the Sweepstakes End Date. The draw will be conducted as follows: first, three (3) eligible entries will be randomly selected for the three (3) Grand Prizes; then, from among the remaining eligible entries, five (5) eligible entries will be randomly selected for the five (5) Secondary Prizes. Each selected entrant is eligible to win only one (1) prize. The entrants selected in the random draw are referred to as the “Selected Entrants”. Selected Entrants may be confirmed winners only if they meet all of the eligibility criteria set out in these Sweepstakes Rules. If a Selected Entrant does not meet the eligibility criteria, he/she will be disqualified and will not receive a prize and another entrant will be selected by way of a random draw from the remaining eligible entries. Before being declared a winner, Selected Entrants will be required to: (i) correctly answer the Sponsor's skill-testing question; (ii) sign and return the Sponsor's Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release form (Winner Release); and (iii) comply with all other Sweepstakes Rules, all in the sole discretion of Sponsor. If the Selected Entrant is eligible to receive a Grand Prize, the Selected Entrant's guest may also be required to sign and return a liability/publicity release before participating in any prize-related activity.
Selected Entrants will be notified within two (2) business days of the Sweepstakes draw and will be contacted via the email address and/or telephone number provided at the time of entry into the Sweepstakes. Up to three attempts will be made to contact Selected Entrants within two (2) business days following the draw. A Selected Entrant that does not or cannot accept a prize may be forfeited and a new Selected Entrant selected by random draw, in the Sponsor's sole discretion. A signed copy of the Sponsor's Winner Release must be received by the Sponsor no later than October 8, 2026. Sponsor is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a Selected Entrant to receive notification or for the Sponsor to receive a Selected Entrant's response.

Disputes regarding identity of entrant: If the identity of a Selected Entrant is disputed, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the individual assigned to the email address entered at the time of entry (Authorized Account Holder). Each Selected Entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the Authorized Account Holder associated with a selected entry.
Release and Indemnification. All winners, and any Grand Prize winner's guest where applicable, must sign the Sponsor's Winner Release to: (i) confirm compliance with all Sweepstakes Rules; (ii) agree to accept prizes as awarded; (iii) release, discharge and hold harmless the Sponsor, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership, Toronto FC, Major League Soccer, L.L.C., Soccer United Marketing, LLC, and MLS Canada ULC, and each of their respective departments and agencies, parent, related and affiliated companies, subsidiaries, franchisees, advertising and promotional agencies, counsel, marketing partners, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, shareholders, successors, sponsors, partners, licensees, subsidiaries, agents, artists, advisors, assignees, and all others associated with the administration, development and execution of the Sweepstakes (Released Parties) from and against any and all manner of action, cause of action, claim or demand, loss or injury, use or misuse of a prize or any travel related thereto, and the use of entries by the Sponsor, suit, debt, covenant, contract, including legal fees and expenses, whatsoever, including but not limited to, claims based on negligence, breach of contract and fundamental breach, failure of any third-party contractor or supplier used in connection with any aspect of the Sweepstakes to perform or deliver any goods or services, any act of God or any other event beyond the Released Parties' control, any dissatisfaction of any kind by a winner with any aspect of the Sweepstakes or any prize, liability for physical injury, death, or property damage which the entrants, guests, their heirs, successors or assigns have, might have or could have suffered, by reason of or arising out of the entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes and/or in connection with the acceptance and/or exercise by the entrant of prizes as awarded; and (iv) indemnify the Released Parties against any loss, damage or expense, including legal fees, that any of the Released Parties may suffer or incur as a result of any non-compliance by entrants with any of the Sweepstakes Rules or participation in the Sweepstakes and/or in connection with the acceptance and/or exercise by an entrant of a prize, and the use of entries by the Sponsor.
The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) incorrect or inaccurate entry information that may affect a person's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes or be awarded a prize, including but not limited to human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed entries for any reason, mail failures, omission, or any combination thereof, and entries that fail to fully comply with these Sweepstakes Rules; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (iii) lost, incomplete, delayed, mutilated or misdirected entries or Winner Releases; (iv) injury or damage to entrants' computers or to any other individual's computer related to or resulting from participating in, or downloading any material regarding the Sweepstakes or accepting a prize; (v) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize, including any related travel and the use of entries by Sponsor; (vi) the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third-party computer hackers or otherwise; or (vii) late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify a potential winner.
Other Conditions. The Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend this Sweepstakes at any time and in any way, without prior notice to entrants. Without limiting the foregoing, if, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Sweepstakes and conduct a random draw from all previously received eligible entries received by the Sweepstakes End Date.
Publicity and Entrant Information. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants consent to the use of their name, address, email address, postal code, telephone number, social media handle(s), comments and image, whether on videotape, photograph or any other means, for the administration of the Sweepstakes or any publicity carried out by the Sponsor, without further notice or compensation.
Law. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, territorial, municipal and local laws. This Sweepstakes shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the province of Ontario, including all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Sweepstakes Rules, rights and obligations between entrants and the Sponsor, and procedural provisions, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Any dispute shall be adjudicated by the courts sitting in Toronto, Canada.
In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials or notifications and these Official Sweepstakes Rules, these Official Sweepstakes Rules shall prevail, govern and control. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Sweepstakes Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Sweepstakes Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
Rule Amendments. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend or modify these Sweepstakes Rules, or modify, cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes, without prior notice for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation in the event that any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor corrupts, or threatens to corrupt, the security or proper administration of the Sweepstakes.
Intellectual Property. All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, images, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Sponsor. All rights reserved.
